I specialize in working with diverse couples of all backgrounds, orientations, and relationship dynamics. I am skilled in assisting couples facing a spectrum of challenges, including but not limited to: communication barriers, intimacy issues, and sexual concerns. My approach as a couples therapist encompasses addressing these sensitive issues in a safe and collaborative environment, fostering understanding, and guiding partners toward healthier and more connected relationships.
I also work with adult individuals and prioritize creating a connected, non-judgemental relationship with clients. I specialize in life transitions, issues related to food/body image, and relational issues.
Outside of the therapy room, you’ll find me in the forest running with my dog, rock climbing, or reading. I’m interested in outdoor endurance sports, writing, and the connection between language and the human experience. I spend time volunteering at my non-profit organization, Ukraine Assistance Network. I am in a long-term, intercultural partnership and am learning to speak Ukrainian.
I received my Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the CACREP-accrediated counseling program at George Fox University
I am a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in the state of Oregon (License Number: C9421)
EFT is a research-based approach that focuses on identifying and reshaping emotional responses within relationships. Using EFT techniques, I help couples identify cycles within the partnership and explore new ways of connecting.
I take a client-led, systemic approach to working with both couples and individuals, meaning the systems a client/couple operates in (family of origin, cultural, political) will often be a part of the therapeutic conversation as these systems impact who we are and how we engage in relationship with others.
